User page vandalism

Three revert rule

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Uhland, Texas. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Tony Fox (arf!) 05:32, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for WP:3RR violation on Uhland, Texas. Request reason:

These are all historic businesses in our area, along the Old San Antonio rd. For example Club 21 is the oldest CONTINOUSLY operating beer hall in Texas (grist mill is longer, but was closed during prohibition), Five Star Concrete was started by one of the founding families to the area and donated supplies to build the community center, etc. - people who have no idea about the history of any of these founders should not edit something they know nothing about.

Decline reason:

The validity of your edits is not the issue here, because it's not a justification for violating the three-revert rule. You're supposed to discuss controversial changes on the talk page and hold off until you convince others of the merit of your addition. You are welcome to explain your changes at Talk:Uhland, Texas once the block expires. —dgiestc 05:56, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
