Disambiguation link notification for March 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KBZT, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AJR (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Siemens Viaggio
[edit]If you want to create an article for the Siemens Viaggio Comfort (currently a redirect), which are used on Brightline and Railjet, that would be wonderful. (Here's one potential source). But they are not the same as the CALIDOT cars, which are not being built or marketed under the Viaggio brand and have several different design elements. Cheers, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 08:02, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
- I already read that article, however, since the Comfort is European rolling stock, I can't seem to find a connction. The Comfort article states nothing about Brightline, and Brightline itself doesn't mention a car model, Due to stringent crashworthiness standards that must be followed, the CALIDOT coaches are derived from the Brightline ones. You could have at least added that the Comfort was templated. Because its early production, we can't tell the difference. The first two are due to roll off the assembly line in June, and we should find out then. You really should have not simply reverted the edit, just edited the infobox, should it still have been there, and still trying to restore. However there is a legal name for it, Caltrans-IDOT New Single-level railcars according to one of the sources, which was the whole reason for that. At least a disambiguation page can be feasible.
- The Siemens website calls the Brightline cars "Viaggio Comfort". It does not mention the CALIDOT cars as part of the Viaggio family. No reliable source does. That's why I reverted your edit completely - you added original research with no basis in verifiable, publicly available sources. Do not restore your edit in any form - it was completely unwarranted. [edit]November 2021
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into UTC Transit Center. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 20:08, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
