ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Bbb23 (talk) 01:11, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Accidentally archive, i'm so sorry. I don't realize it. I already uninstall the script. Aidillia(talk) 01:13, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
To enforce editing restrictions placed by the community, as described at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1177#User:Adillia,
you have been temporarily blocked from editing. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Hammersoft (talk) 03:21, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: Edit restrictions placed by the community are enacted by community consensus. In order to overturn this block, you must either receive the approval of the blocking administrator or consensus at a community noticeboard (you may need to copy and paste their statement to a community noticeboard).

You were properly notified of your WP:IBAN with User:D.18th [1]. WP:IBAN is clear; "make reference to or comment on Foo anywhere on Wikipedia, directly or indirectly". In this case, "Foo" is User:D.18th. Yet, you chose to violate the IBAN anyway. Since you seem incapable of abiding by your IBAN, I have blocked you for 1 week. You are on an extremely slippery slope. This is a very, very lenient block. There are admins who would block you indefinitely for the iban violations you have been committing. This ends. Now. If you want to be part of this community, you will strictly adhere to your IBAN. If you're not clear about what that means, then ASK QUESTION. Continuing as you have is completely unacceptable. --Hammersoft (talk) 03:21, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Aidillia,
I hope you fully understand that this is a lenient block. If, after this block is over, you return to making "accidental" edits and asking questions about the other editor, you will be indefinitely blocked from ever editing Wikipedia. This is your second chance. You must learn to move on, write about other subjects and have some self-control. The community has run out of patience and you won't be given you another limited time block should you break the Interaction Ban again. Liz Read! Talk! 03:53, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Aidillia. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
Izno (talk) 03:12, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. Just wow. Aidillia, you had a window of opportunity in which to redeem yourself and you absolutely blew it. I said you were on an extremely slippery slope. Not only did you manage to slip further, you slipped as far as one can possibly fall by your own actions. What an absolutely silly move. Moving forward, you can try...as so many have done before you...to keep making sockpuppets while thinking we're too stupid to notice. Or, you could take a break for six months and attempt to come back as a productive member of this community. The former means wasting your time and ours. The latter means you might have a chance at redeeming yourself. I hope, for your sake, you are interested in the latter. If so, Wikipedia:Standard offer applies. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:49, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I never know if editing on a second device is forbidden too. I thought this device I'm using was the only one. But I only just have 1 edit (which is installing one script); there's no more than that. It's my mistake to not know about this early. I'm so stupid and silly. I will try to read Wikipedia rules about it. I never knew that creating many accounts, although there's no such problem, is forbidden. I will stop this behavior; I'm really sorry again and again for causing a problem again. I wish I knew these rules earlier. Aidillia(talk) 02:27, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You were blocked from editing. You, by your own admission, made an edit anyway. I can't imagine how one could not know there were rules against that. * Pppery * it has begun... 06:10, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Aidillia (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I've been blocked for so long. I often used the Aidillia account for editing. I usually wake up early to edit on English Wikipedia because it's my routine. I admit that I have many mistakes that need to be fixed. I've been waiting for 1 week to be unblocked, but then I was blocked as a sockpuppet by Izno, which makes me in shock. I don't know if using another device is a violation. It's my mistake for editing on another device, and, as I found out recently about it, I only just installed one script (1 edit). But isn't it too harsh to block it straight? I swear to never repeat the same mistake. I will try to read all of Wikipedia's policies and change myself to a better one. I know many people are not satisfied with my behavior. I was trying to change when I would be unblocked in 1 week, but suddenly I was blocked again, which disappointed me. Please consider it; my day without editing is just nothing. It's a fool of me to keep repeating the same mistake; I promise that I'll change. Much of my work on the draft is still ongoing there: Please consider unblocking me or at least changing the setting to block just for 1 week. I'm really begging.

Decline reason:

Absolutely not. Please follow the Standard Offer advice @Hammersoft gave you above. Star Mississippi 03:47, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
