Short description length

[edit]

Hello friend. Thanks for your edits. Please be careful with short descriptions, they're supposed to be pretty short, about 40 characters max. More details at WP:SDFORMAT. Thanks. –Novem Linguae (talk) 12:28, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your good-faith edits, many of which we have had to revert. Please take care to avoid overlinking. Each target should normally be linked only once: the first time it appears in each article. Also, a sea of blue frequently causes confusion. One link to avoid is Main Page: this is Wikipedia's own main page, not an article about main pages in general or of the website being described. Our articles about Wikipedia have received a lot of attention and may not be the pages most in need of improvement. If you do edit them, please be familiar with WP:Selfref.
