Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions to Elizabeth Banks and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

British v American English
[edit]Please stop changing the variety of English in articles from American to British English. Wikipedia uses both varieties (see WP:ENGVAR), and articles that are about British subjects (including British films) use British English. American subjects (including films) use American English. as a very good rule of thumb, you should not go around changing the variety used without discussion on the article talk page. - SchroCat (talk) 10:54, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- I came here to say the same thing after noticing something similar at Bob Grant (radio host). And these edits broke links. 71.191.83.37, you need to address these concerns. StonyBrook babble 18:05, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Leslie Howard, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
In particular, please note that Wikipedia uses the logical quotation style. Punctuation should be placed inside quotation marks only when it is part of the text being quoted. —ShelfSkewed Talk 16:33, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- Please listen to this advice, as you've made an edit against that style again [1]. Thanks. Skynxnex (talk) 14:12, 4 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style. You have been told repeatedly that wikipedia uses logical quotation style but you persist in moving punctuation marks. e.g. [2][3][4]. It is disruptive to continue to make edits against the advice of other editors and the community. DrKay (talk) 21:32, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
