Hello, I'm JPxG. I noticed that in this edit to 1982 Flinders by-election, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. jp×g 20:26, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The swiftness with which you reverted my edit made my head spin and clearly indicated that you are keeping an unusually close watch on that article. Have you some connection with the article? Perhaps your connection could help in providing more information. I provided a full and adequate edit summary for why I removed the paragraph. In fact, you offered no explanation in the edit summary for your reversion. I will return my edit with my same edit summary. I have spent hours trying to located the source that the information in that paragraph depended upon and I have been unable to locate it. I am satisfied that due diligence was done. If you have more information of that source and can provide it so that the reader can locate it for further investigation as dictated by Wikipedia policy, then do, please, add it and return the paragraph and the update source. If you have no further information to allow for the location of that source, then please leave the text unpublished. It will remain in the article's History if others come behind us with that source. I thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance in requiring this article to adhere to Wikipedia policy and standards. I will add this information to the article's Talk page for further discussion, if needed. 69.180.218.186 (talk) 20:40, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:CITELEAD, cites are not necessary in the lead when the content is sourced elsewhere in the article. DrKay (talk) 09:41, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, of that I am aware. If I indicated otherwise, it was simply an oversight on my part and I thank you for bringing it to my attention. 69.180.218.186 (talk) 22:33, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Shannon

[edit]

Good job on the clean up on the Michael Shannon article! Mike Allen 20:41, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That links to the German Wikipedia page. Suggest reading the documentation of that template on {{Ill}} Cheers Adakiko (talk) 12:49, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

With edit to Dede Allen , you removed an {{Interlanguage link}} (aka Ill) to de:Stephen Fleischman. The Ill links to the German Wikipedia page and will automatically link to the English Wikipedia page if the Stephen Fleischman article is ever created. This link: Stephen Fleischman [de] is valid; click on the [de] to link to the German Wikipedia page. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 01:00, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Red links should not exist when they link to pages that do not exist and will likely never be made. Because the German article does exist I will leave the red link. I wonder if you are German, yourself. If you are, I would like to encourage you to create the English article of the subject to which you have shown an interest and translate the German article into English. I would be happy to edit the English article when you are finished. I am unfamiliar with the people in this article, but I do hope you will create the English article for this woman's husband, if he deserves one. Let me know if I can help. All the best. 69.180.218.186 (talk) 01:18, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your edits to Lebanon, Tennessee, because your edits--in addition to adding sourced content--added unsourced content and removed sourced content. You are welcome to try again, and add back only sourced content. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:16, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
