"South Carolina standards"?

[edit]

We don't have state-specific standards like that. Imzadi 1979  00:12, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Look At Interstate 26, 40, 77, 85, 95’s Related Rotes Page In South And North Carolina, It’s Actually A Wiki’s Carolina States Standards, You Will See
For Example, I-85 In NC:

There are many cases where articles haven't been brought up to modern standards. There are no state-specific standards for highway articles anymore. Instead, you should be looking at WP:USRD/STDS, and where it is silent, look at Category:FA-Class U.S. road transport articles to see how the Featured Articles handle things. I think you'll find that FAs would not have a table like that. Imzadi 1979  01:47, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Route transition

[edit]

That coloration was added for an Australian situation. We use it in the US, but not as you're applying it. Used as intended, there are two use cases.

  1. In an article about a numbered highway, it's used to indicate when that number transitions between two named highways. For example, we could (but don't) use it too note where I-75 transitions from the Fisher Freeway to the Chrysler Freeway.
  2. In an article about a named highway, it's used to indicate when that name transitions between numbered designations. (This is the Australian use case.) For example, the Ohio Turnpike transitions between I-80 and I-76. In the US, we use the concurrency coloration in this situation.

We don't use it at the end of a highway to indicate the continuation though. Imzadi 1979  02:59, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
