Hello, I'm Moriwen. Thank you for your contributions to Prince Louis of Wales. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you!

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi,

I've noticed that a number of your recent edits involve changing redirected links to piped links. For example at "Julian Rhind-Tutt", you changed [[First World War]] to [[World War I|First World War]], and there are numerous other examples. Wikipedia generally recommends against doing this, as explained at "WP:NOTBROKEN".

PS Also, check out WP:NOPIPE and MOS:NOPIPE. In fact, the whole section at MOS:L is worth a read.

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Prunella Scales, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 22:37, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at James the Red Engine, you may be blocked from editing. Your edits seem to consiste almost entirely of removing redirects. Whilst not obviously harmful, this is fundamentally pointless, we have a policy directly against it (you were advised to read WP:NOTBROKEN some time ago), and often it's a degradation of the article. It is not better to avoid a redirect: sometimes the link is the most appropriate target (see your change at Maxine Peake), we just don't happen to have an article at that location because the editors who could be writing it are instead kept far too busy dealing with make-work cleanup after editors like you. Please stop. Andy Dingley (talk) 21:05, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
