[edit]

Hello, I'm Philipnelson99. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to First Minister of Scotland seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 22:10, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to First Minister of Scotland. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. WindTempos (talkcontribs) 22:45, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Isla Brison case

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Isla Bryson case. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Newimpartial (talk) 16:04, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Physician, heal thyself. That is exactly what you are doing.

WP:3RRNO explains the circumstances under which multiple reverts are permitted - including my edits to the page in question. Newimpartial (talk) 16:29, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Newimpartial (talk) 16:07, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where?

There. Newimpartial (talk) 16:28, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And what are your grounds for continuing to censor me, Bbb23?

The only thing you're allowed to do here is to request an unblock, and even that would have to be done in a non-inflammatory fashion. Neither this page nor any other at Wikipedia is a platform for you to push a particular agenda.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:23, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
