Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, 202.90.137.42. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Chief of the Army (Philippines), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.
Since the DOST haven't conducted an investigation on their own end yet, and just denied their direct involvement in the DDoS of Bulatlat, I am assuming that this IP is currently being controlled by the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Per our conflict of interest policy, you are required to disclose your connection to the AFP. Since you are editing from an IP address instead of a registered account, a userpage disclosure is not possible, so you will have to disclose it either on the talk page of the AFP-related article you are editing on, or on the edit summary. I suggest doing both.
Alternatively of course, you can register an account here and do an userpage disclosure and an article talk page disclosure instead. That would be better and easier in my opinion.
Repeated violations of our COI policy may result in a ban. pandakekok9 (talk) 04:32, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Tol. An edit that you recently made to Urbi et Orbi seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Tol (talk | contribs) @ 20:18, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
