[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Shimon bar Yochai has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. I see that you used a similar intentionally false edit summary when editing Betzalel Smotrich. If you continue, your edits will be reverted, and you may suffer administrative sanction, such as a block. GordonGlottal (talk) 00:46, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
- I have not touched the Wikipedia pages you claim I edited. I apologize if my IP address appears similar to another user. 185.182.71.29 (talk) 21:21, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Francesca Albanese. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Actualcpscm (talk) 15:03, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:COVID-19_lab_leak_theory. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 17:45, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- As an FYI, this type of problematic behavior, posting clear off-topic material (e.g. discussions of other users' behaviors, broad invectives about all "main stream media", all science being full of lies, etc.) will eventually lead to your IP address being blocked. Please read WP:RS, WP:NPOV, WP:RS/AC to get a better understanding of how we do things around here. Failing to understand the culture and standards that the Wikipedia community sets for itself is a very common reason for being blocked. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

[edit]Do not remove reliably sourced content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Casriel Dovid Kaplin, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Isaidnoway (talk) 05:16, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
