[edit]Hello, I'm Llammakey. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Frégate de défense et d'intervention have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please read WP:RS and WP:OR Llammakey (talk) 01:03, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see how it wasn't constructive. It is a known fact that France uses the NATO "D" hull classification for certain ships, to include the Frégate de défense et d'intervention, which places them in the destroyer type, as opposed to ships classified with "F" for frigate. 174.44.216.4 (talk) 01:01, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- France is a very odd country in which they don't use the term "destroyer" but uses the classification. Ships marked with "D" are called "first-rate frigates" while ships marked with "F" are called "second-rate frigates." But a first-rate frigate and a destroyer are one-in-the-same. It's an exclusively French term. 174.44.216.4 (talk) 01:08, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
