Caravaggio
[edit]Three separate issues:
1. It seems that you are systematically emptying the Death of Jesus page. Is that a way to bypass the merge discussion? Else, please add soemthing new to the Deat page before deleting large pieces. You know the topic really well, so I am sure you can write it without problem, if you want to. So please add do some more items before deleting too much.
2. I searched for the Caravaggio and the other two images very carefully so they all fit well on the Death page. The images I added to Crucifixion were carefully selected to be about Crucifixion, not about burial. hence the Caravaggio needs to stay on the Death page anyway. There are other Crucifixion photos that I can add, no that ther eis more text.
3. The Medical aspects part looks better now, but the image does not fit right. I will look for a better image.

Crucifixion of Jesus
[edit]Thank for the heads up, but it looks like you were undoing someone else's edits before me.--Carlaude 14:45, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Long time no edit
[edit]Hi, Long time before you edited. I felt we were missing your biblical knowledge edits on various issues. Anyway, on Crucifixion of Jesus there is some new paragraph since 2-3 days ago that says that the 7 sayings are inconsistent, etc. and has some refs from some books. I would like to add some references that support the 7 sayings to balance it. Do you have a starting point on that? Thanks. History2007 (talk) 19:15, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi, Ἀλήθεια. Just a friendly reminder that another reversion beyond this edit would be a WP:3RR violation. Be certain to make your next move an appeal for an outside neutral opinion. Thanks. — CactusWriter | needles 10:20, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, Ἀλήθεια. Just a friendly note about your message on my page. You were successful in having the Maas article deleted, but there was a real disagreement in your the attempt in which several confirmed notability. I fail to understand your such vendettas. I intend to keep expressing my judgements, which seem to differ from yours. R/T-รัก-ไทย (talk) 04:59, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contribution to the discussion. You reminded me that I had posted on this very topic some years ago. Since there was already a thread on the topic that you posted about, I inserted your comments into the relevant section. HokieRNB 03:57, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Mediation Case
[edit]A request for formal mediation of the dispute concerning Genesis Creation Myth has been filed with the Mediation Committee (MedCom). You have been named as a party in this request. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Genesis Creation Myth and then indicate in the "Party agreement" section whether you would agree to participate in the mediation or not.
Mediation is a process where a group of editors in disagreement over matters of article content are guided through discussing the issues of the dispute (and towards developing a resolution) by an uninvolved editor experienced with handling disputes (the mediator). The process is voluntary and is designed for parties who disagree in good faith and who share a common desire to resolve their differences. Further information on the MedCom is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee; the policy the Committee will work by whilst handling your dispute is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee/Policy; further information on Wikipedia's policy on resolving disagreements is at Wikipedia:Resolving disputes.
If you would be willing to participate in the mediation of this dispute but wish for its scope to be adjusted then you may propose on the case talk page amendments or additions to the list of issues to be mediated. Any queries or concerns that you have may be directed to an active mediator of the Committee or by e-mailing the MedCom's private mailing list (click here for details).
Please indicate on the case page your agreement to participate in the mediation within seven days of the request's submission.
Crucifixion
[edit]Hi, Ok, I think we have an agreement between us two, but as I said before there are 3241721 other people with keyboards that may soon edit whatever we do. As for Jesus vs Jesus of Nazareth, there is already a link, and personally I think given the title it is clear who Jesus is, the most famous person in history. And the Nazareth qualifier is usually used by critics somehow (like there is also Jesus from Culver City ?), so I usually do not use it. Cheers History2007 (talk) 00:55, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Johannes Maas and Worldwide Faith Missions
[edit]I came upon your involvement in the AfD nomination of an article about a missionary by the name of Johannes Maas (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johannes Maas (missionary) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johannes Maas (missionary) (2nd nomination) for the discussion). I have nominated Worldwide Faith Missions, another article which was written by the same author as the Johannes Maas article, up for AfD. I have also seen from your contributions to Wikipedia, that you are active on articles concerning Christianity. I am no expert on Christian organisations and have tried finding sources on Google to verify the notability of the subject. After having ploughed through many Google results, I have not been able to find one reliable source to establish Worldwide Faith Missions as a notable NGO. Perhaps you have access to sources on Christian NGO's which relate to this subject but are not available through Google? Apart from the author of the Worldwide Faith Missions article and myself, there has been no response so far on its AfD page. Would you mind having a look at this AfD perhaps? You can find it here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Worldwide Faith Missions. I have also asked another Wikipedia contributor (see User_talk:Phil_Bridger#Johannes_Maas_and_Worldwide_Faith_Missions) who was active on the Johannes Maas AfD discussion, to contribute to the present AfD. Thank you. - Takeaway (talk) 04:00, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Feinberg
Our interests overlap significantly, and I fully support your program of article creation. One of the reasons I filled in the list of Presidents of the Evangelical Theological Society (which I haven't quite finished yet - I'll finalise it soon), was to see and to show which articles were yet to be created. Harold Lindsell is a glaring redlink - creating that article should be quite easy. Anyway, getting back to Paul Feinberg, Category:Deaths from congestive heart failure is a subcategory of Category:Deaths from heart failure, which is a subcategory of Category:Deaths from cardiovascular disease. But I agree - it doesn't look appropriate in this instance. I'll remove it. StAnselm (talk) 00:42, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Yes, I think it is an excellent table. I think a few columns could and should go - "last", "next and "distance" - maybe some of the students and faculty columns too. "And "since" - the date of the institution's establishment would actually be much more helpful. (Actually, it doesn't fit on one screen with my usual browser.) Website should probably be the final column. Anyway, really good work. StAnselm (talk) 22:07, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Ways to improve Frank Neuberg
[edit]Hello, Ἀλήθεια,
Thank you for creating Frank Neuberg.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
References are needed.
This article needs to satisfy general notability as given in WP:NBIO
More sources are needed. Individual sources must be evaluated separately and independently of each other and meet the four criteria below to determine if a source qualifies towards establishing notability:
- Contain significant coverage addressing the subject of the article directly and in depth.
- Be completely independent of the article subject.
- Meet the standard for being a reliable source.
- Be a secondary source; primary and tertiary sources do not count towards establishing notability.
Kindly do the needful.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

Frank Neuberg moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Frank Neuberg, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article Bruce A. Ware has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication the person is significant since lacks description of why or any references supporting significance (a one year stint as president of a minor theological society doesn't seem to count).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Erp (talk) 17:07, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
