[edit]Hello, I'm William Harris. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Dire wolf, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. William Harris (talk) 21:21, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dire wolf, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. William Harris (talk) 03:32, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Dire wolf, you may be blocked from editing.
You are now bordering on disruptive editing; please cease. William Harris (talk) 08:28, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Dire wolf. William Harris (talk) 07:44, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- Please stop changing C. dirus into A. dirus. The article section on Taxonomy is divided into C. dirus based on multiple studies of its morphology, and into A. dirus based on one genetic study. Changing the morphology section into A. dirus - repeatedly - is not helpful to either the article nor to readers' understanding of this species. This is similar to your reverted edit at Smilodon - the same reason applies. William Harris (talk) 07:55, 8 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit] This is your only warning; if you add unsourced material to Wikipedia again, as you did at Dire wolf, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
If you disagree with what I stated above in June, then please raise the matter on Talk:Dire wolf or my Talk page. That decision was made by the majority of editors who watch the Dire wolf article on its Talk page. There exists a requirement of a Wikipedia policy WP:NPOV that - "All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), which means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic."
There are no more warnings; please take note of this. William Harris (talk) 22:52, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
