Regaarding the Draža Mihailović article, that has be subject to long standing edit warring, and in an attempt to resolve those issues, some of us have entered into formal mediation. During such mediation it is standard practice to "freeze" an article, and that is why your edits are being reverted. If you have any questions about this, the best person to contact would be Sunray. thank, --Nuujinn (talk) 11:51, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Draža Mihailović, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please contact sunray if you have questions, but persisting in this manner will be considered vandalism--you need to discuss your changes for this article --Nuujinn (talk) 14:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Draža Mihailović. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. - It would be an good idea if you (Swift) wished to participate in the mediation, since I´m not having much time to deal about it lately. Will you like to take a look at the current state of the mediation and the text worked there? Because, the current text you are editing in the article page is going to be replaced, so it would be more benefitial if you could work on the text that will actually be the one to stay in the future. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 21:50, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
English is obviously not your first language but the addition to the Tatiana article will be hard for people to read in English. The references look like they aren't properly cited either. --Bookworm857158367 (talk) 18:54, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Draza Mihailovic Killed Serbs
[edit]Draza Mihailovic's Chetniks committed a massacre of Serbian women and children in the Serbian village of Vranici, read here http://www.znaci.net/00001/22.htm .Yahalom Kashny (talk) 04:20, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
My response (still waiting for your response)
[edit]Your mention of Richard Felman and Chetniks. My response: So what if he was Jewish? My father was Jewish and he was killed by Serbian Chetniks. Draza Mihailovic was paid in gold for each rescue. He was going great lenghts to regain allied support.. Chetniks were Nazi collaborators, and there are thousands of war time documents attesting to this fact. They played both sides. Read here (bottom of the page, thousands of documents attesting to Serbian Chetnik Nazi collaboration http://www.znaci.net/ ) Yahalom Kashny (talk) 21:55, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
I responded again, see my talk page. thx.Yahalom Kashny (talk) 02:43, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Draza Mihailovic mediation
[edit]Hi. I'm fed up with this and I have proposed here that the mediation should just end, so the article can be rewritten and improved. What do you think ? cheers, Jean-Jacques Georges (talk) 21:17, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for your contributions to the article and to the mediation. If you are going to participate in the collaborative editing aspect of the mediation, would you be able to sign your agreement here as soon as convenient? Sunray (talk) 20:17, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Naming conventions
[edit]Hi. I want to inform you that there is current voting about name of this article: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Talk:Momcsilló_Tapavicza#Requested_move Perhaps you can say your opinion there if you wish. PANONIAN 10:23, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
"Serbia" was a Nazi puppet
[edit]You might be interested in this move. It appears User:PANONIAN wants to rename the Nazi puppet Nedić regime to "Serbia". "Serbia" (instead of "Nedić regime") will then of course have to be listed on all infoboxes and categories as a Nazi puppet state, right alongside Ustaše Croatia. I myself am a little surprised and confused, but if everyone agrees "Serbia" was a Nazi puppet then I'll have to agree.
Mediation
[edit]Hi Swift. Long time no see. You came in a great moment, right now Sunray want to conclude the mediation: Wikipedia talk:Requests for mediation/Draza Mihailovic. I will be very pleased if you participated as you did before. I just think that we will try to keep things simple to begin. I hope you´ll find time to participate, cause I have been on/off a bit. [edit]I inform linking these: List of war crimes#Yugoslav Partisans perpetrated crimes and Allied war crimes during World War II#Yugoslavia; if you want edit an article pertinent communist crimes, now you have an idea. ARBMAC warning
[edit]In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you. Fainites barleyscribs 09:10, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
You know information in the article should be properly sourced and not just POV or WP:OR or WP:SYNTH. There is no excuse for adding edits in contentious articles that are unsourced when there is a multitude of comprehensive sources in this area. (For example, Ramet in Three Yugoslavia's has a section on the trials after the war.) Fainites barleyscribs 09:10, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Mihailovic mediation
[edit]The time is now approaching for us to bring this mediation (or at least, this phase of it) to a close. I would welcome constructive comments from all participants as to what could reasonably be dealt with before closing. Please respond on the mediation talk page. Sunray (talk) 20:53, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- This is to let you know he draft article is finally ready to be moved to replace the current article. First, some mediation participants are working out terms of discussion on the article talk page, so as to increase the odds of a focused dialogue. As soon as that is completed, we will unlock the article and proceed. You are invited to join in the discussion at any time. Sunray (talk) 22:50, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Help needed
[edit]Greetins. I saw some awsome edits of yours on Milutin Milanković (I did the bibliography btw.) so I would like to ask you if you could help on some of these pages:

Wish you all the best.

Proposed new section for Mihailovic article
[edit]We have two proposals for a section in the Mihailovic article:
- Ethnic conflict and terror tactics. - First proposal, drafted by Nuujinn.
- Terror and cleansing actions. - Second proposal with additions (in red) by Direktor.
Would you be able to indicate which proposal you prefer here? Thanks. Sunray (talk) 22:20, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
"Still produced"
[edit]Yes, obviously I know that. Which is why that information is already included in the infobox on the right side of the article. As a general rule, keep the introduction short, to-the-point and simple, offering the most basic information to the reader (what it is, where it came from, etc.). Further details can be elaborated in the article. Col Radec (talk) 05:24, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Rose window
[edit]Please read before adding a picture or information. It doesn't matter how good a picture may be, if you shove it in the wrong place, then it becomes disruptive to the meaning of the article, not helpful. You put that picture into a section directly under a heading that said St Denis, Chartres, Mantes, Laon and Paris. Your picture did not illustrate one of those five locations that were highly significant in the development of the rose window. There are thousands of windows in the world, and that section is only about a specific group. Amandajm (talk) 07:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Mihailović: Draft for new section on "Collaboration"
[edit]During the mediation, we agreed to discuss two additional topics on the article talk page: 1) Ethnic conflict and terror tactics, and, 2) Collaboration. The former was completed some time ago. Nuujinn has now drafted a proposed section on the latter subject. I am contacting mediation participants to see if they wish to comment. The draft can be found here. Any comments would be most appreciated. Sunray (talk) 06:10, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Battle of Loznica
[edit]G'day. I noticed that you are a significant contributor to this article, and just wanted bring to your attention that it is now completely unsourced. I have made unsuccessful attempts to corroborate the account of the battle in the article, but given you must have quite a bit of source information, I thought it was reasonable to give you the opportunity to source it before I request its deletion. Cheers. Peacemaker67 (talk) 00:11, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
The article [[Battle of Loznica (1941)]] has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on [[Talk:Battle of Loznica (1941)|the article's talk page]].
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Operation Kopaonik
[edit]G'day. I noticed that you have been a significant contributor to this article, and just wanted bring to your attention that I have tagged it for WP:NOTABILITY. I have made unsuccessful attempts to corroborate the actual operation in WP:RS(see the talk page) in the article, but given you may have some source other than Kumm for other material, I thought it was reasonable to give you the opportunity to source it before I request its deletion. The fighting/casualties appear to be pretty minimal, but the massacre of civilians appears to be reliably sourced and possibly notable, so perhaps the article could be cut down to cover that? Instead of that, I am currently suggesting merging properly sourced bits of the article (ie the massacre, into the Prinz Eugen article). Cheers. Peacemaker67 (talk) 23:08, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Follow up
[edit]So, I noticed you found time to edit again at Aeroput. That's good.
Did you also find time to address the copyright notice I left you?
I would have hoped you might - given the help I've given you with translating your additions to articles, and other image related help.
It's a shame when editors don't communicate, but maybe it's my fault for not being as communicative as I could be.
Anyway, it would be nice to know you understood the copyvio message, and even nicer if you could address the problem.
If you need any help then please do leave me a message here, or on my talk page - I've enjoyed many of your contributions, like the Tesla Museum picture and the "Distant Worlds and Times" article, and they've been a superb addition to the encyclopedia - but where copyright is concerned it really is important we address the issues and sort them out.
I noticed the article has been reverted and the copyright tag removed by a couple of logged out IP addresses that seem to edit the same articles you do. As I'm sure you noticed, that isn't acceptable.
Anyway, coincidences apart, it would be good to get some sort of response to the copyright matter so that we can sort it out before it goes any further. Cheers. Begoon talk 21:57, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

We noticed though that when you edited Serbo-Turkish War (1876–78), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Timok (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Aleksandar Tirnanić.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Aleksandar Tirnanić.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 16:01, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:12, 23 August 2018 (UTC)

Tree-category predlog/pomoć
[edit]Zdravo,
Ne znam da li si kao i ja primetio da za brojne srpske teme nemamo propratni tree-category. Primera radi: Serbian literature (dok većina evropskih ima), Presidents of Serbian Academy of sciences and arts, Presidents of Matica Srpska, Rectors of University of Belgrade itd.
Veliki pozdrav,
Mm.srb (talk) 20:05, 8 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Memorial Ossuary, Čačak moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Memorial Ossuary, Čačak, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 18:55, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Monument in Čačak.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Monument in Čačak.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 10:35, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

About Nikola Tesla
[edit]- Hi, Свифт, I see that you have added something to the Tesla entry and I understand that you want to do some expansion, it's just that, that piece is about Tesla's early life and generally describes what is directly related to Tesla, what you are writing about is Tesla's family and what happens to them is not directly related to Tesla, maybe you could add a new section dedicated to Tesla's family and that would be fine.
- As well, what you have written does not have any references, as you know, Wikipedia needs reliable sources for its content, and I hope you will include them in your future writings. MoJieCPD (talk) 04:24, 17 July 2022 (UTC)

Hi Свифт! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Stefan Nemanja that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
