Umm… Are you sure you are in the correct place? This is my user page, not my talk page. I really like my user page just the way it is. If there are things broken on it, it's probably because I am in the middle of testing something, like a template. Since I often develop my templates over on Meta Wikipedia, and then copy and paste them over here after I'm finished working on them, chances are that any changes you make will be overwritten when that happens. While I don't mind typo fixes or spelling corrections, it is still best to just mention it on my talk page instead making the edit yourself. Since I re-use a lot of my content on other wiki projects and in different languages, alerting me will help to ensure that any changes get propagated everywhere. This is especially true for updating image locations, categories, or other page links. Often they are embedded inside some complex template or esoteric parser function, and even good-hearted "fixes" can break things badly. Finally, if you are here to vandalize my user page out of spite for reverting an edit of yours, there's nothing I can or will do to stop you from acting immaturely. If you do, I (or another editor) will simply revert your changes and report your actions. If you repeatedly engage in that type of behavior, you could be blocked or even banned. Wouldn't it be a better use of your time to make constructive contributions instead? |
