I have recently edited the P.E.O._Sisterhood article; I am a member of this organization and not neutral, however the errors in the prior text seemed to violate not only my own understanding of the "truth", but also the wiki objective of keeping statements relevant to an article. Since the point of the article is to describe the P.E.O. in objective terms, the removal of pejorative sentiments seemed aligned with both wiki goals and my own.

While looking for third party references to cite I found a wonderful blog by a woman who has a PhD in the study of sororities and fraternities. I've asked for her help with this task. At the moment the only information I have to support the claim of increased diversity in the P.E.O. is from the organization itself.

I will try to check this page at least once a month. Susan
