- This article is related to the project we are doing in class and more specifically related to my topic on LGBT media in South Korea.

- Does the Lead include an introductory sentence that concisely and clearly describes the article's topic?

- Is the Lead concise or is it overly detailed?
Lead evaluation
[edit]The lead didn't include many cited information. It also seemed like specific information that should belong under a more specified header. It can be more concise and convey general overarching points.
Content
[edit]- Is the article's content relevant to the topic?
- Is the content up-to-date?
- Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong?
Content evaluation
[edit]- The content seemed mostly relevant to the topic. There were smaller sub-categories of LGBT rights written and some topics seemed unnecessary. The content also seems up to date.
Tone and Balance

- Is the article neutral?
- Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
- Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
- Does the article attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another?

[edit]The article does present good neutral facts, but uses languages that are opinionated. While the claims could be true, without reliable citation, it's difficult to translate languages like "has gotten better" or "still face some difficulties".

- Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic?

[edit]Some sources are not reliable sources. A lot of the sources are current and the links do work. However, it seems to lack some primary literatures.
Organization

- Is the article well-written - i.e. Is it concise, clear, and easy to read?
- Does the article have any grammatical or spelling errors?
- Is the article well-organized - i.e. broken down into sections that reflect the major points of the topic?

[edit]The organization can be done better. Some of the header topics seem unnecessary and some section has just one sentence.

- Are images well-captioned?
- Do all images adhere to Wikipedia's copyright regulations?
- Are the images laid out in a visually appealing way?

- What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic?

Talk page evaluation
[edit]There isn't much conversation on the talk page. One person has commented on the lack of citation and biased languages while another person pointed at a more general comments.
