Stop motion is a form of media in which pieces are moved and captured frame by frame to create the illusion of movement. Created in 1898 by French filmmaker Émile Cohl, the simplistic yet sophisticated art of stop motion swiftly grew in popularity since the release of early films such as “The Humpty Dumpty Circus” and “A Trip to the Moon.”[1]
