Kat Dixon is an American poet and editor.
She is the author of "KISSISSIPPI", released in September of 2009 from Gold Wake Press[1], and "DON'T GO FISH," released in June of 2010 from Maverick Duck Press[2]. Forthcoming titles include "BIRDING" from Thunderclap Press[3] and "PLANETARY MASS" from Dancing Girl Press[4], both due out in 2010. Other writings have been published in online and print journals, including Indefinite Space, E-ratio, Decomp, elimae, and Counterexample Poetics. Dixon is poetry editor of the online literary journal Divine Dirt Quarterly[5]. Her work has received nominations for the Pushcart Prize in 2009 and for Best New Poets 2010.
