This user is a Wikipedian in the United Kingdom. The motto of the WITUK is Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, which translates to, "Let him be shamed who thinks ill of it".
This motto reflects a key Wikipedian desire, and is a reference to the British 'Order of the Garter'.
Hi there :). I am a British 20-something regular user of Wikipedia who makes minor corrections to articles and contributes to random pages here and there! If you wish to chat to me about any of my Wikipedia contributions, please leave me a message, especially if you disagree! I don't like editing wars, it's better to talk about things nicely!
I have been a registered user on Wikipedia for some time now, and I mainly make minor edits to articles, but sometimes if I randomly stumble upon a neglected article, I will format it somehow. Usually though, I just edit articles to take out poor writing, spelling mistakes and I search for citations and add them. When you work freelance, Wikipedia can be very useful in passing the time!
The things that annoy me most on Wikipedia are the jobsworths who patrol around, telling you how to behave even when you have done absolutely nothing wrong. I worry about how little life these people have lol. I also can't stand people that abuse articles with personal opinions, especially when they contain abuse towards the subject of the article or the users of Wikipedia. I also hate poor spelling and overlinking.
I also hate the conduct of some people on talk pages. They appear to believe rules do not apply to them and their definition of what should be included seems to be that they get to 'win' (even when they're wrong and are harming articles in the process). The internet brings out the worst in some people and that seems evident on Wikipedia. Horrible little bottom dwellers like to hide behind their computers and convince themselves they have a virtual life to replace the real one they lack. Funny!
Dancing on Ice - the articles that relate to this as well, especially the one for the current series are very informative
Jade Goody - I keep an eye on this article, especially at the moment as it is a target for vandalism
Hollyoaks - this extends to the character articles as some are not in keeping with wikistyle so I would like to get around to helping rectify this at some point
