There are many different ways that you can contact Spebi. They are listed below in order of <word>; meaning, try methods listed closer to the top, and you are likely to get a good response faster.

  • Talk page ( , ); the most simplest, easiest way to get a hold of me, fast. Generally, this should be used for contacting me about my edits or anything about Wikipedia. Please make sure that while you are contacting me on my talk page, that you abide by Wikipedia's talk page guidelines for the whole of Wikipedia's discussion pages.
  • E-mail ( , ); if you have a concern that you'd rather not make public on my talk page, then you can e-mail me. All replies will be sent via e-mail, and not on-wiki. What is said on e-mail, stays on e-mail; I promise you, I have nothing to gain by publicly embarrassing you, or violating your privacy.
  • IRC ( , , ); I have several nicknames, and my primary nickname is Spebi. Other alternate nicknames include Spebi_, Spebi|away and Spebi|busy, any nickname that has the following cloak: (n=spebi@wikipedia/Spebi) or (n=chatzill@wikipedia/Spebi). If you are concerned that a certain "Spebi" is me or not, contact me on my talk page and I'll confirm for you. Note, you can also request a private conversation over IRC. Also, please note that I do not save chatlogs of our conversations over IRC.
  • Google Talk ( , ); used mainly for off-topic discussions, although wiki-related discussions are welcome (although probably better suited for IRC, easier interface). Hover over this text to see address.

Privacy

[edit]

If you ever have an issue with privacy when corresponding with me, let me assure you, I have no intention to release your personal information. Any chat-logs of our conversations over IRC, or the contents of e-mails, will not be released publicly and will stay private. If you are sometimes unsure or suspicious that the person you are talking to that claims to be me, request confirmation on-wiki (i.e. get me to sign a message saying "The person on IRC is me, ~~~~").

If you are unsure that my account has become comprimised, I have set up confirmation methods to assure the Wikimedia Foundation that the account is mine, and it is me who is operating the account.

If you are unsure or suspicious of this page, check the page history before trusting any information. The information on the page above is correct. Spebi 22:17, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
