SapphireOne Pty Ltd. (formally Sapphire Software Pty Ltd)[2] is an Australian-based software company that develops Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP),[3] Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Accounting Software for small and medium-sized businesses.[4][5][6][7]
The company offers an ERP, CRM and Business Enterprise Financial Accounting Software suite, named SapphireOne[5] which comprised of Accounts, Inventory, Job/Project Management, Assets, HR , Payroll, Document management, Business Activity Statement (BAS), Standard Business Reporting (SBR), VoIP Softphone, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionalities.[4] [5] [8][9][10][11][12][13][14] SapphireOne application is build with 4D Programming Language and this application is deployable on both Windows and Mac OS environment simultaneously.[5][8]
SapphireOne was developed from 1986,[6] [15] first with a prototype 4D package Silver Surfer in beta and then release Package 4D in 1987 as a Multi user solution for Mac only. With the release of Client/Server technology in 1990 for both Apple Mac and Windows 3.0[16] PCs as a 32bit Application, SapphireOne was re-written from the ground up with a team of Graphic designers,Programmers and writers. [8][17][18][13] SapphireOne Pty Ltd has continued to build on those early efforts adopting key technologies to interact with html via the Webpack html in 2003, then working with hand held devices from 2008.[8][17] In 2016 SapphireOne has complied with 64bit for both Mac and Windows.
