From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gianotti is the author or co-author of more than 500 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals.[1] She has given more than 30 invited plenary talks at the major international conferences in the field.[citation needed]

Some of her most notable publications include "Observation of a New Particle in the Search for the Standard Model Higgs Boson with the ATLAS Detector at the LHC", where CERN presented the Higgs boson observation,[2] "Searches for supersymmetry at high-energy colliders: the past, the present and the future" in the IOP Science, New Journal of Physics,[3] and "Calorimetry for particle physics" in the APS Physics Journal.[4]

Fabiola has independently-authored a collection of review articles, detailing the status of operations and scientific findings at CERN.[5][6] Her effectiveness in detailing both fundamental physics, as well as the continued ongoings of the ATLAS project, to a general audience has garnered Fabiola recognition as one of the world's leading science communicators.
