This is a list of Philosophers of Religion, both living and dead. The list contains the names of thinkers that have made important contributions to the philosophical study of religion. Not all necessarily taught or teach in the discipline of philosophy, or worked or currently work at universities as professors or teachers, although the vast majority were or currently are professors or teachers of philosophy at universities and colleges around the world.
