Hi! I just came across International Union of Socialist Youth/Leadership. It seems like per your edit summary Draft page you might have meant for this to be a draft. Would it be ok with you if I moved it into draftspace? Cheers! TartarTorte 17:07, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That seems fine. It’s not really meant to be a page, more of a sandbox for stuff to be moved into the main article, so I tried doing it as a subpage, but I have nothing against a draft. ~Politicdude (About me, talk, contribs) 17:08, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good! I moved it to Talk:International Union of Socialist Youth/Leadership. It seems that Wikipedia:Subpages under "Disallowed uses" it says that Writing drafts of major article revisions, e.g., [[Example Article/Temp]] in the main namespace, as you can get there accidentally using Special:Random—write these in the talk namespace, e.g. [[Talk:Example Article/Temp]]. See Wikipedia:Workpages for detail. So that's why I moved it there. Thanks for working on improving Wikipedia articles! Cheers! TartarTorte 17:42, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Randy Toler

[edit]

Hello, Politicdude,

Thank you for creating Randy Toler.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Hi Politicdude, I have some concerns about your new article on Randy Toler. On the face of it, he does not appear to have ever been elected to political office, so I am actually wondering about his notability. A good chunk of the article is taken up with elections to school boards, but frankly, even though sources may exist, this material isn't WP:DUE. Why is there so much on this, and nothing about his presidential run, apart from the fact he's a registered candidate? The personal life section could also do with expansion.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Moved Draft:Ballot access in the 2024 United States presidential election to mainspace

[edit]

I've made many changes and expanded your article, and moved it to the mainspace. I cut out the entire table about ballot access requirements for major party primaries as it is incomplete. In case you wanted to finish it, it's still in the page history. Longestview (talk) 11:06, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, could you make an update on this page List of most-streamed artists on Spotify which has been out of date for some time and no one has thought about updating it, thanks and regards 190.219.101.16 (talk) 03:37, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024

[edit]

Hello, Politicdude,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Wikisteveb4, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, for deletion, because it is a very short article that doesn't provide readers with enough context to determine who or what the subject is.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Wikisteveb4}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Notice

The article Attempt to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unlikely to result in any action. The vast majority of references do not pertain to the topic directly. This could be merged.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 19:32, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per the outcome of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Age and health concerns of Joe Biden, I have restored the parallel article on Donald Trump to draft at Draft:Age and health concerns about Donald Trump. I have noted recent reporting on the article subject in the lede, but the article as a whole requires substantial updating. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! BD2412 T 21:28, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's 90% there, but I also think that there will be more substantial information to add after the next round of fully post-Biden withdrawal polling becomes public. BD2412 T 20:19, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now live at Age and health concerns about Donald Trump, following the latest round of polls showing the expected jump in the level of concern. BD2412 T 22:21, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jill Stein 2024 presidential campaign, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Socialist Alternative. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Quick question about my 2024 presidential election revert

[edit]

Hi, I saw you reverted my edit. I was wondering if you could link to the policy/guideline that says a candidate needs to get at least 5% of the popular vote to get included. Thank you in advance. Interstellarity (talk) 23:37, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
