- Famously know for the "Achilles' heel" ,which anatomically is a tendon in your ankle, symbolizes a flaw or weakness someone can have in one's self.[1]

- Achilles is a Greek God; son of Peleus and Thetis.[2]

- Peleus is the kind of Myrmidons and Thetis is a sea nymph, nymphs are mediocre females associated with things in nature that grew.

- He was handsome, brave and one of the strongest warriors

- NOT the son of Zeus[3]

-Peleus sent son away to not die at a young age

-the central character for Homer’s epic poem The Iliad[4]

-The Achilles’ heel is from a non-Homeric episode where Thetis dipped Achilles in the River Styx to make him invincible [5]

- Peleus received a vision or oracle that his son Achilles would die at a young age fighting at Troy. So in order to do change that he sent him to the court of Lycomedes on Scyros where was made to dress like a girl to avoided detection.
