[edit]Content
[edit]- You have a lot of information, maybe you can add some more on the life cycle of the fungi, if it's known.
- It was originally thought to be Gymnoascus, but later moved to Arachniotus and then Pseudoarachniotus: Maybe you can mention key features that led to the distinction (different types of spores, preferences on growth mediums, different composition of cell wall, pigment production)
- You can briefly mention these similarities/differences in the "history and taxonomy" section instead of in "growth and morphology"
- I understand its found in central Europe + United Kingdom; though the way it's phrased, makes it sound like UK is part of central Europe
- With so many sources, perhaps you could elaborate on a couple points (the usages section especially seems a bit bare) Why would one want to increase nutritional content of otherwise waste material (by-products from vegetable processing plants, such as peelings, rinds, husks)? Could this benefit the quality of feed for livestock?
Sources and References
[edit]- You have a ton of good sources, it seems like the article is very well researched.
Organization
[edit]- Aside from the suggestion of moving similarities within the genera to the "history+taxonomy section" I think your information is very well organized and easy to read.
