The Political Testament of Louis XVI is a document, a makeshift royal decree, from the 18th century (specifically written on June 20, 1791) in which King Louis XVI of France expresses his ideals and last political wills, in the midst of the French Revolution and immediately before his flight to Varennes. This is not to be confused with the last will — in the form of a letter — addressed to his sister, a month before his execution.
