[edit]Formed in 1999 by CEO Mark Ustik, The Hudson Financial and Technology Group, LLC is a Lawrence, Massachusetts based technology services provider that builds, integrates and delivers reservation, dispatch, ticketing, vehicle tracking and communication technologies. Doing business as The Hudson Group, their primary client base is the private ground transportation industry where the majority of clients are in the limousine, taxi, airport shuttle and charter bus / sightseeing tour businesses.
Hudson offers both premise based as well as hosted, Software as a Service (Saas) software installation options. The Hudson Group has partnered with notable transportation industry resources including FlightView and FlightStats (commercial flight tracking services), Orbitz, Travelocity, Alaskan Airline Vacations and others.
Hudson / AMT Merger
[edit]In January 2009 The Hudson Group acquired AMT, formerly Alternative Management Technologies, Inc. a New Jersey company formed in 1993 that built a Microsoft Windows based reservation and dispatching software system for the limousine industry.
Locations
[edit]Originally a virtual company with home-office based staff, The Hudson Group leased its first company office in North Andover, Massachusetts in 2005 to provide centralized client Technical Support services. In February 2007, the company moved into an Historic Mill building complex on the Merrimac River in Lawrence MA. The main corporate headquarters is located here still and accommodates the executive offices, Technical Support, project management and software development teams. Satellite Technical Support staff are situated outside London, England and Chicago, Illinois (USA). Satellite Business Development and support offices are located in southern New Hampshire, Victor, New York; and Los Angeles, California.
