Belle Twigg
Belle Twigg is an artist [1], writer, mystic, and consciousness researcher. Widely known as a tradigital [2] and integrative
[3] artist, she later explored and advanced the theory of post-conceptual art.
Many of her images utilize integrative holonic symbols. Of Belle's early work,
"Manipulation: An Obama Portrait" is featured at the Obama Art Museum. [4]
She is also known for UnGraven Image [5]. This Post-Conceptual technique
uses Torah font as the stroke to create an image. It was created by
Judy Rey Wasserman, who also wrote the manifesto for Post-Conceptual art theory.
Belle is the author of several books, including Divinely Human [6]
which traces her early explorations of altered states of consciousness through various meditative states and the process of transformation.
A graduate of Goddard College's Consciousness Studies Program, she developed a
systems model for analyzing trance states [7] based upon qualitative research.
Her work as an artist and researcher has led her to explore consciousness through spontaneous art.
She has spoken widely on topics as varied as consciousness, art, educational theories, and doemstic violence. [8]
