Bibliography
[edit]- Cory Pittman and Pauline Fiene. [1] -This source explains the coloring of this mollusk and expands on its main food group.
- Rudman, W.B., 1999 (March 18) Haminoea cymbalum (Quoy & Gaimard, 1833). [In] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. [2] -I chose this source because it taught me that there are differing speices of this mollusk and they can show up in different colors than the original bluish-green with orange polka dots.
- Rudman, W. B. "On the opisthobranch genus Haminoea Turton & Kingston." (1971).[3] - This source is a scientific journal entry from the 70s, which can be tricky when deciding to rely on its outdated information. I chose to keep it despite its age because the research proves to be cited in many areas of this mollusks written history.
- Cruz-Rivera, Edwin, and Valerie J. Paul. "Feeding by coral reef mesograzers: algae or cyanobacteria?." Coral Reefs 25.4 (2006): 617-627.[4] - This source explains the Cymbal Bubble Snails affect on its environment and how they can overcluster areas of algae.
- Wollscheid-Lengeling, Evi, et al. "The phylogeny of Nudibranchia (Opisthobranchia, Gastropoda, Mollusca) reconstructed by three molecular markers." Organisms Diversity & Evolution 1.4 (2001): 241-256. [5] - Finally, the last source expands on the family of this species and its evolution status over the course of time. This will simmer down my facts and provide me with quality historical evidence on my subject.
