User:Lajmmoore/% highest gender imbalance per country
In 2020 Women in Red ran an event which focussed on improving women's biographical content for the countries with the lowest percentage of articles on English Wikipedia. This listing was first created by MarioGom. I really enjoyed the initiative, so carried on with it.

20 countries with lowest proportions of women's biographies
[edit]From March 2020 to Janaury 2025, I focussed on the 20 countries with the lowest percentage of representation. Since articles are being added to Wikipedia all the time, the countries alter periodically. I updated the table each time I got through 20 biographies. I did this five times.
Countries that appeared in each of the five iterations of lowest 20 were: Bosnia Herzegovina, Guinea, Libya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tonga and UAE.
* This fifth took much longer as I was simultaneously working on my Round-the-world challenge, and also life happens!
