Ian Jacob Guenther resides in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois. He was born in 1977 in Spencer, Iowa. A graduate of Boone High School, he was named a National Merit Scholar in (1995). He believes and supports public education and holds the Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas (2000), and the Master of Arts from Iowa State University (2005).
Ian's interest include the collision of art, economics and politics in history, especially that of Le Corbusier as a proponent of Maurrasian and neo-Bonapartist values in early 20th Century France. He is also interested in the history of baseball. Politically, Ian would be a Libertarian, if only capitalism could be completely trusted. Recreational interests include alpine skiing, swimming, cycling, sailing and golf.
He lives with his fiancée and a cat.
Ian is an ardent fan of the Detroit Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks.
