User:GlassCobra/Editor for deletion/Criteria for editor deletion
Appearance
This page contains material that is kept because it is considered humorous. Such material is not meant to be taken seriously. |
Below you will find a set of criteria for editor deletion. ONLY nominate under these criteria, otherwise communistic, power-hungry admins other good-faith editors will remove your nom from the list.
General criteria
[edit]These criteria apply to all editors, and are in addition to editor-specific criteria in following sections.
- Patent nonsense and gibberish, an unsalvageably incoherent editor with no meaningful content. This does not include: poor writing skills, obscene remarks, vandalism, fictional material, material not in English, badly translated material, or hoaxes of any sort.
- Unblocked/unbanned editor. An editor who has returned from a block or ban and contributes constructively despite low expectations from others.
- Editor requests deletion, if requested in good faith, and provided the editor's only substantial contributions were unsubstantial.
- Blatant copyright infringement. Editors whose username is a trademark or copyrighted name of a company or other entity.
- Editor runs a bot.
- Editor is run by a bot.
- Editor contributes at bot-like speeds.
- Editor is a bot.
Editors
[edit]- No humor. Very stuffy editors lacking sufficient sense of humor. Example: "He is not a funny man with a red car and does not make people laugh."
- Too much humor. Refer urgent cases to speedy deletion squad, or wait for their next drive(by).
- Foreign language speaking editors who exist on another Wikimedia project.
- No indication of importance/significance. This is distinct from questions of notability, verifiability and reliability of sources.
- Corrupt or empty editor. Pretty much self-explanatory.
- Speedy renaming. Any editor who has had a name change.
User pages
[edit]- Editors with talk pages whose corresponding user page does not exist.
- Existent user. User pages of users that do exist. (Check Special:Listusers.)
- Revealing user pages. Any information found on an editor's user page may be used as reason for deletion.
- Blatant advertising. Editors whose user/talk pages exclusively promote some entity (i.e. a Cabal). Note that simply being a member of such an entity is not reason for deletion.
