- Briefly describe why you have chosen this article to evaluate.
- I chose this article by going to the C-Class Articles category, clicking aviation, and clicking around until I found an article that wasn't empty. I may want to do a wiki page on infrastructure.

- Yes, it has basic information and an airport code.
- Does the Lead include a brief description of the article's major sections?
- No, the Lead is not very correlated with the sections of the article.
- Does the Lead include information that is not present in the article?
- The Lead has information that is not present in the rest of the article.
- Is the Lead concise or is it overly detailed?
- I think the lead is fairly concise and contains information that is relevant.

- Is the article's content relevant to the topic?
- Yes.
- Is the content up-to-date?
- Surprisingly so; the page is active and was edited only a couple hours before I randomly found it. It also has a reference to the Coronavirus crisis and an sentence about an airline that ceased operations in March 2020.
- Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong?
- I would like to see more than two pictures in the article. I cannot find any content that does not belong.

- Yes.
- Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
- No.
- Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
- Not that I can find.

- No.

- No; there is a paragraph in the History section about early refugees that has "Citation Needed" on it.
- Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic?
- The sources seem to be thorough and varied.
- Are the sources current?
- Many of the sources cannot be said to be recent, but they are up to date. A lot of information about one specific event comes from 2006 news articles.
- Check a few links. Do they work?
- One link I found to the Heathrow Airport Holdings group was broken, but it had a Wayback Machine backup available.

- Yes.

- Not that I can find.

- Yes, but there are so few that little action is required.

- What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic?
- Until 2019 the article did not mention that Southampton Airport was in the UK. Other disagreements are about previous plans the airport seems to have delayed or cancelled.
- How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects?
- It is part of "Aviation/Airports, "Military History," and "Hampshire."
- How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class?

- The article overall is a complete article.
- What are the article's strengths?
- The article has a good amount of sources used.
- How can the article be improved?
- I think a wider variety of information is necessary for this article.
- How would you assess the article's completeness - i.e. Is the article well-developed? Is it underdeveloped or poorly developed?
- Although the article could be considered sparse on information in comparison to a larger airport like Heathrow, I feel that it is well-developed.
