Daniel Keeran lives with his wife Jennie in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Born in 1947, he is the youngest of four sons and the father of Phoebe and Seth. A practicing psychotherapist since 1976, he is currently engaged in writing and research. He and Jennie are actively involved in community development related to homelessness.
In 2005 HomelessPartners.com was launched with the mission of connecting the public to individual homeless people by publishing their stories and Christmas wish lists so that personal gifts and caring messages could be delivered to shelters where the homeless are staying over the holidays.
He is a graduate of David Lipscomb University (BA, European History), the University of Kentucky (MA, Russian History), and Kent School of Social Work, University of Louisville (MSW, Clinical Social Work).
In 1985, he and his wife founded the Counsellor Training Institute that expanded to five cities in British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
He has written Refutations of Atheism, The Lost Mystery of Baptism , Effective Counseling Skills: the practical wording of therapeutic statements and processes, Therapeutic Journal: A Four-Month Diary for Counselling and Personal Growth, and Radical Christianity: Peace and Justice in the New Testament.
