[edit]Caribbean islands
[edit]Upon formation, a Tropical Storm Warning was issued for the entire island of Puerto Rico. As well as for the Dominican Republic from Cape Engaño to Cabo Francés Viejo, late on September 4.[1] Although, the warnings were later cancelled at 15:00 UTC on September 5.[2] As a precautionary measure, Puerto Rico Governor Alejandro Garcia Padilla shut down all schools and government buildings, with the threat of Gabrielle.[3]
Tropical Storm Gabrielle produced heavy rainfall over Puerto Rico.[4]
