The 2012–13 VfB Stuttgart season is the 120th season in the club's football history. In 2012–13 the club plays in the Fußball-Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. It is Stuttgart's thirty-sixth consecutive season in this league, since having been promoted from the 2. Bundesliga in 1977.

Season

The club takes part in the 2012–13 edition of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, where Stuttgart have reached the quarter-finals, and will face 2. Bundesliga side VfL Bochum.[1]

In Europe the club qualified for the 2012–13 edition of the Europa League, where Stuttgart played Steaua Bucureşti, Molde FK and FC København in Group E of the group stage, having previously knocked out Dynamo Moscow in the Play-off stage. The club moved on to the knock-out phase, where they face Belgian side K.R.C. Genk.[2]
