Thabiso Patrick Motseki (born December 13, 2002) popularly known as Choppa, is a South African editor and an unknown book and quote writer. He wrote multiple books which are relevant to his life experiences but he never got the chance to publish any of his books.
Early Life
[edit]Motseki is born in Kroonstad, Free State, where he was raised by his mother. He is the only son of Emelia Motseki, his mother.
Motseki wanted to study Medical Science and Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) but due to his financially disabled family he couldn't get enrolled. Rather he started showing interest in writing quotes on 2021 during his Matric year, followed by quotation discovery then he wrote his first book named, "Education Is Not The Key, But You Are".
Personal Life
[edit]Relationships
Motseki had never been in a romantic relationship in his entire life because he never believed in it, saying, "love doesn't exist in this reality, we only get into a relationship with the mentality of satisfying our own sexual needs......which is why teenager pregnancy keeps on piling up but there is no history of a guy marrying his baby mama". His peers thought that maybe it is because of the fact that he was afraid of rejections, and he also stated that he is heterosexual.
Depression
In 2015, Motseki was involved in a saga and he was slapped on the ear by one of his classmate during that time and they almost broke his tympanic membrane which made his lose his ability to hear temporarily.
Motseki has struggled with mental health issues, particularly depression and anxiety at various points during his school years. He has generally been open about these issues. He couldn't get professional help, though he kept on pretending as if everything will be alright but things got worse due to the Passive Suicidal Ideation during 2021, but the following year he became Active Suicidal Ideation due to a delay in his dreams.
Religion
Motseki is born from a Christian family. In 2017 he became agnostic, he stopped believing that God exists due to being allowed to dream but restricted to make his dreams part of his reality and that he believes that all he had accomplished in life it is through his hard working and the support that his mother showed. Motseki even stated that, "even if I were to die this morning, I ain't got no objections to that cause I don't see any purpose behind my existence".
Reputation
He has a pretty good and strong image in which he stated that, "it took me more than five years to build a good image that I have today, and it can easily take a second for someone to ruin it, I don't compromise when it comes to that." He didn't only just build it at school but also in the environment he lives in, because he wants to die for an idea that will live than to live for an idea that will die. His mother mean the most to him, because she is the only pillar of his strength.
Superstitions
[edit]Motseki doesn't celebrate his birthdays, he was born on the 13th of December 2002 and that day he was born it was on Friday. Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition. The day and year he was born, it was considered the most unlikely day ever, it wasn't a day created to bring a useless attention but rather according to the folklore historian Donald Dossey, the unlucky nature of the number "13" originated with a Norse myth about 12 gods having a dinner party in Valhalla. The trickster god Loki, who was not invited, arrived as the 13th guest, and arranged for Höðr to shoot Balder with a mistletoe-tipped arrow. Dossey: "Balder died, and the whole Earth got dark. The whole Earth mourned. It was a bad, unlucky day." This major event in Norse mythology caused the number 13 to be considered unlucky. He even wrote a book namely, "The Unlucky Nature Of The Number Thirteen" which emphasis his life events, even though it wasn't published too.
