Elizabeth Diller (born 1954) is an American architect. She is founding partner of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Professor of Architecture at Princeton University, a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an international fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Early life and education

Elizabeth Diller was born in 1954 in Łódź, Poland. In 1979, she married Ricardo Scofidio, with whom she founded the design studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro in the same year. She attended The Cooper Union School of Art, where she received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Cooper Union School of Architecture.[1]

Career

Elizabeth Diller is currently a Professor of Architecture at Princeton University School of Architecture and a visiting professor at the Bartlett School of Architecture. She began her career as an assistant professor at the Cooper Union School of Architecture between 1981-1990, becoming an associate professor at Princeton University in 1990.[1]

In 1979 she founded design firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro with partner Ricardo Scofidio.
