Augie West is a minor editor. These are some of the little things I do:

  • Add spaces: Commonly left out before or after parentheses. Many other instances, too.
  • Add a few letter(s): "You article has typos.", becomes "Your article has typos."
  • Fix vandalism: Tiny Dancer deals with the character singing the song eating the ballerina figurine from inside a music box.
  • Judiciously add links. Gotta be careful to not over link!
  • Add to disambiguation pages: I use Wikipedia for crossword puzzles, Myra Hess should be on Myra (disambiguation)!
  • Fix links: Especially those that point to disambiguation pages.
  • I created one article, Leonard S. Coleman, Jr.. I just wanted to fix a link to the wrong Leonard Coleman. What an ordeal...not what I do!
  • Occasionally, I edit for NPOV. That is always stressful.
  • Once I added content and I naively walked in to a edit war! To the warrior's credit, they kept my content. (Thank you.)

I feel like a make an important contribution. That makes me feel good. I created my account on June 23, 2005 (19 years, 4 months.) I kept editing even after getting bit early on. The biter was friendly after my yipe.

Palio di Asti

[edit]

Thank you for leaving your comment about this on my user page. Apparently, in 1992 the results of the Italian National Lottery, which is drawn annually, were based on the order that the horses finished in the Asti Palio of that year. Different events were (are?) used for this each year. I will amend this, and add a reference [3]. Piedmont (talk) 18:30, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
