Yashraj, known previously as Yashraj Mehra is an Indian rapper, writer and composer.[1][2][3][4] He is primarily known for his songs like "Ishq Nachaawe" from the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, "Murder Mubarak Title Track" from the film Murder Mubarak, and his single tracks like "Dhundhala", "Gabbar, "DLL" and "Daae / Baae".[5][6][7] He has featured in Vogue and Grazia Magzine.[8][9]

Yashraj belongs to Mumbai, India.[10]

He made his debut in April 2020 with releasing EP titled "Azaad Hu Mein".[11][12] After this, he released various single tracks like Do Khidkiyaan, Khel, Galat / Sahi, DLL, Part of Me, Ek Sath, Toast, Gabbar, among others.[13] He collaborated various songs with artists like "Kanipatu" with Rishi Rich, "Kho Gaya" with Zaeden, "Dhundhala" with Talwiinder and "Hiir" with Armaan Malik.[14][9][15]

In 2022, he release his first album titled "Takiya Kalaam".[16]

In 2024, he sung title song for the film Murder Mubarak and Ishq Nachaawe song for the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.[17][18]

Pandey was born in Patna, Bihar.[62] She graduated from Ramjas College.[62] She also studied performing arts at Shri Ram Centre, Mandi House, where she was actively involved in theatre.[62] She made her first appearance in 2016 with tv series Queens Hain Hum.[67] After this, she appeared in Fear Files and Aye Zindgi in 2017.[68] In 2018, Pandey played as Nidhi Tripathi in Zee Tv’s soap opera Aap Ke Aa Jane Se.[69] After this, she acted in Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki in &TV’s comedy series Shaadi Ke Siyape in the year 2019.[70][71][72] In the year 2021, Pandey appeared in Azaad’s drama series Pavitra: Bharose Ka Safar and in 2022, Shemaroo Umang’s Kismat Ki Lakiro Se.[73][74]

Girdhar Swami

Girdhar Swami is an Indian casting director.[75][76][77] He made his debut with the film 3 Idiots.[78] He is primarily recognized for his work on projects such as the National Award-winning film Andhadhun, 3 Idiots, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Sanam Teri Kasam, Yaariyan 2, and Coolie No. 1.[79][80][81]

In 2009, Girdhar Swami commenced his career as a casting director with the film 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan.[82] In 2012, he worked on the casting for Rowdy Rathore featuring Ajay Devgn and Ferrari Ki Sawaari starring Sharman Joshi.[83] The following year, he cast for Chashme Baddoor starring Ali Zafar and Taapsee Pannu.[84]

In 2014, Swami was involved in casting for Hasee Toh Phasee featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, and Gunday starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.[85] He also worked on Calendar Girls in 2015.[76]

In 2016, he cast for Sanam Teri Kasam starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane and Wazir featuring Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan.[86][87][88] In 2017, his casting projects included Gul Makai starring Divya Dutta and Atul Kulkarni, Indu Sarkar featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Beyond the Clouds starring Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan, and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.[89][79]

In 2018, Swami worked on Andhadhun, a National Award-winning film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte, as well as Bhaiaji Superhit featuring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.[75] In 2020, he cast for Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, and Virgin Bhanupriya featuring Urvashi Rautela.[90][81] In 2023, he worked on casting for Yaariyan 2 starring Meezaan Jafri and Divya Khosla Kumar.[91]

Manav Subodh is an Indian social entrepreneur.[92][93][94] He is the founder of 1M1B, a United Nations-accredited nonprofit organization.[95][96] He is also one of the creators of 'Big on Small Talk' podcast.[97]

Career

Manav is known for his extensive experience in entrepreneurship and innovation.[98] He has worked at Intel Corporation, where he directed the company's entrepreneurship initiatives in over 30 countries.[99] His career also includes roles at Ernst & Young (EY), Hughes, and QAI. Between 2015 and 2017, he served as a Senior Fellow at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley and, in 2016, as the Garwood Innovation Fellow with UC Berkeley's Corporate and Open Innovation Center, where he led the Smart Village initiative in India.[100] Manav was the Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Director at Intel Corporation and served as a member of the National Advisory on Innovation, Incubation, and Technology Entrepreneurship of the Government of India for over five years. Additionally, he was a Senior Advisor to Ernst & Young (EY) on policy formation for innovation and entrepreneurship for the State Government of Chhattisgarh.[101]

In 2014, Manav founded 1M1B, a nonprofit organization accredited by the United Nations.[102] In 2024, he established India's first Green Skills Academy in collaboration with the State Governments of Telangana and Meghalaya, as well as the Government of India, with the goal of engaging 10 million youth in climate action.[103] Manav is also a co-creator of "The Big Small Talk" podcast, developed with Anuj Sawhney.[104]

Biography

Sidhu was born in village Kot Dhunna , Barnala, Punjab to Sardar Bikkar Singh.[111] He completed his graduation from Punjabi University, Patiala.[106] Bhanna's grandfather, Sardar Kartar Singh, was the chairman of the Bharatiya Kisan Union.[105] Sidhu was actively involved in the 2021 farmers' protest.[112] Sidhu began his career in comedy alongside his brother Amna Sidhu and relative Harinder Sidhu, also known as Producer Dxx and their early work faced significant criticism for its use of explicit language.[105] Sidhu subsequently transitioned to acting in Punjabi cinema, with notable appearances including the Sidhu Moosewala starrer Moosa Jatt and Ammy Virk Starrer Sufna.[113] He has featured in various Punjabi music videos such as Sidhu Moosewala’s Doctor, G Khan’s Fakkar, Gallan, Balkar Ankhila’ s Vaardat, Zafar’ Thapian.[114][115][116][117]

Beside his work as an artist, Sidhu is a social activist. He redirected his attention to the problem of immigration agents deceiving young people by demanding large sums of money under the false pretense of facilitating their travel abroad.[109] His intervention led to several immigration agents returning the illicitly obtained funds to the victims.[109] He also voiced criticism regarding the government's failures.[109]

Arrests

Sidhu has been involved in at least eight separate cases since 2019, including four cases registered against him within a single week in January 2024.[106] He was arrested on charges of extorting a Ludhiana-based immigration agent.[118] Later that same day, Sidhu and his brother were also booked for extortion by the police in Mohali following a complaint lodged by another immigration agent.[119] On January 26, a new extortion case was filed against him in Abohar.[120] On February 3, 2024, a substantial group of demonstrators, including young people and farmers, obstructed the national highway near Jheormajra village in Sangrur.[121] The protesters breached police barricades in an attempt to reach the chief minister's residence in Sangrur, demanding the release of Sidhu. On February 12, 2024, Bhana Sidhu was granted bail by a court in Mohali. Following the court's decision, Sidhu was released from Patiala Jail.[122][123]

Chahat Vig was born in Pathankot, Punjab.[19] She’s a trained Hindustani classical singer and an alumnus of Whistling Woods Internstional and Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares.[129][130][131]

Chahat began her acting career with a role in the theatrical production Yahudi Ki Ladki.[132][133] She subsequently appeared in the play Andha Yug.[9][19] In 2023, she made her Hindi film debut with Gumraah, which featured Aditya Roy Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur.[134][135] In the same year, she was also cast in the television series Rafuchakkar, alongside Maniesh Paul and Priya Bapat.[136][137][138] In 2024, she portrayed the character of Sia Walia in 36 Days, a television series produced by BBC India and Applause Entertainment.[139][140][141]
