William Walker (19 November 1878 - 10 March 1961) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was James Walker (c. 1852 - 10 February 1889), a wholesale provision merchant from Cambuslang.
His mother was Agnes McKinlay (24 October 1854 - 18 January 1930) from Glasgow. James and Agnes married on 4 April 1876 in Stirling.
William Walker was born on 19 November 1878 at 67 Roselea Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow.[3]
He married Janet Muirhead Lawson (23 February 1891 - 25 February 1964) from Stirling. They married on April 1924 in Chelsea, London, after banns were issued on 29 March 1924.[4]

[edit]He died on 10 March 1961 at 21 Atholl Crescent, Edinburgh.
He is buried in Dean cemetery 3 in Edinburgh.[5]
