James Henry Todd (12 March 1871 - 27 May 1955) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was David Todd (c. 1831 - 29 November 1883) from Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire.[8]

His mother was Grace Alison Dunn (c.1834 - 18 June 1911) from Glasgow.[9] They married on 1 June 1855 in Milton, Glasgow, after banns were issued on 27 May 1855 in Edinburgh.[10]

James Henry Todd was born in Helensburgh on 12 March 1871.[11]

He married Anne Miller Allan (born c. 1878), the second daughter of James Allan of Redtower, Helensburgh. They married on 23 November 1906 at Redtower in Helensburgh.[12]
