Ladan Teimoori Toolabi is a medical biotechnologist whose research primarily focuses on cancer, epigenetics, and chemotherapeutic drug resistance.[1] She is a professor in the Molecular Medicine Department at the Pasteur Institute of Iran.[2]
Education
[edit]Toolabi received a M.D. from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2002 and a Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Pasteur Institute of Iran in 2009.[3] She is fluent in English and Persian.[3]
Research
[edit]Toolabi's research focuses colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, biomarkers of cancer, drug resistance, drug design, and molecular therapies of cancer.[4] She has published more than 90 research papers, and her works have been cited over 1,200 times.[1]
