چوٹھوخیل قبیلہ Chotukhel tribe. (In pashto Chotukhel Tribe) The Chothukhel tribe lives in the Tank district in the south of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ancestors of the Chothukhel tribe were very powerful and intelligent who controlled the Tank Zam water in the plain area of ​​Tank district with their own hands without any machine which is not possible today. The Chauthokhel tribe lives in the villages of Gara Shahbaz, Nasran, Gola Korai, Odal, Gomal, Khunun, and Chauthokhel in Tank District. According to some elders, Chauthokhel was a major branch of the Ahmadzai tribe. According to some elders Chothukhel is changed name of chontkhel or chonrkhel sub-caste of Mehsood tribe but now it is independent tribe have its own history. However, the Chotukhel tribe now lives mostly in Tank District, Peshawar, Mohmand Agency and South Waziristan.
