Tom Cursons (born 15 November 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays for Harrogate Town, as a forward.[1]

Career

[edit]

Cursons spent his early career in non-league with Metropolitan Police, spending time on loan at Badshot Lea.[2][3][4]

After time with Walton & Hersham, he joined Hartley Wintney in December 2021.[5]

He joined Gainsborough Trinity in January 2022,[6][7] moving to Long Eaton United in November 2022.[8][9] He moved to Barwell in August 2023.[2]

After joining Ilkeston Town, he signed a new contract with the club in February 2024.[10] Following rich goalscoring form across both seasons,[11] which saw 12 goals in 18 games in 2023–24,[12] and 25 goals in 31 games in 2024–25,[13] in September 2024 rejected an offer for Cursons from an unnamed club.[14] He also captained the football team of Nottingham Trent University.[15]

In January 2025, after reportedly attracting attention from a number of Football League teams,[16][17][18] Cursons signed for Harrogate Town,[19][20] turning professional with the club.[21]
