The Army, The Navy is an American indie rock band consisting of Maia Ciambriello and Sasha Goldberg.[1]

History

Ciambriello and Goldberg have been friends since childhood.[2] The duo attended the same singing coach growing up.[1] The duo also studied music together in New Orleans together, before moving to Los Angeles.[2] The group begain attracting attention due to posting on the app TikTok.[3] The duo released their first EP, Fruit for Flies, in 2024.[3] The song "Vienna (In Memorium)" from the EP has received significant attention.[4] The EP was named one of Knocked Loose guitarist's Nicko Calderon's favorite releases of 2024.[5] The duo released their second EP, also in 2024, titled Sugar for Bugs.[6] The duo opened for Matt Maltese in 2024.[7]
