Purple Line
[edit]Should we add the Purple Line to this list or not? I know it is entirely in Maryland, would WMATA end up running it when it started up, or would it be more similar to MARC?Naraht (talk)
- I think we should remove it from the Metro template, since it's being built and run by a P3 Zr2d2 (talk) 17:35, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- The Purple Line is gonna be the Maryland MTA's baby and not branded as part of Metro. I moved it to "See Also." --Jfruh (talk) 17:16, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
List of general managers
[edit]I went to this page and used it to list all of Metro's general managers in the template for the sake of completeness. I wasn't sure whether to include acting GM's in there or not, but went ahead and put them in there. Tangherlini is perhaps the only non-permanent GM who deserves a spot in there regardless, but the others I'm not so sure about. What are your thoughts? SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:28, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- I question the need to list Metro's acting GMs in the template, though I'm not familiar with their relative influence or notability. Unless it's likely that they'll receive their own articles, or sections in an article, I further question the (broken red) linkage of names. —ADavidB 04:35, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Started on Jackson Graham
[edit]Copied (changing slightly of course :) ) the information from Oregon State. Looking to use the Great Society Subway as a source, I'll try to get a real copy so I can use more than what's in google books.Naraht (talk) 17:56, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
